In January of 1964, renovation work begun on the former Romanuck’s Store, located on the corner of Main and Janet in Ituna. In order to serve the families of Ituna and District with a modern up-to-date funeral facility, Bailey's Funeral Home had been busy planning for several months before the renovations were started.
The renovation turned out beautifully, with chapel seating for 100, a casket selection room, and arrangement room. Bailey's was proud to have well-known local businessman Harry Kozakewich mange the facilty as needed, an arrangement that worked for over 40 years until Mr. Kozakewich's retirement.
Following another complete renovation in 1995, the funeral home today contines to serve the needs of families in the Ituna area.
